Dungarees To See You Through The Cooler Season

Dungarees
I thought I would start with possibly my favourite piece, the dungaree, which is a complete surprise to me. Only because I have personally tried in vain, to stay away from this look, on the account I have been told numerous times over the years, I look young for my age. So why on earth would I want to add a pair of dungarees into the equation?
I have always known that I loved dungarees and for some reason thought, being an adult meant to give up the dungaree.
You should love dungarees, simply because of its practicality. And it’s versatility too. It can be worn in many different ways and doesn’t have to be just casual. My easy way of wearing a dungaree is with a t-shirt in the summer, paired with a nice pair of sandals or flip flops. Layered with simple jewellery. For the transitional Autumn season, the best item to wear with a dungaree, is a shirt and jumper. Or a cardigan short, mid or long. Both looks would be great with chunky boots or a pair of stylish flats. This look is achieved by so many and is great during the spring, summer, autumn fashion and the cold winter seasons.

Corduroy
Oh gee, I couldn’t be more happy for this wonderful fabric to grace the autumn fashion season again. The corduroy is one of my favourite fabrics to grace the planet and here’s why.
The corduroy fabric is simple but a celebrated material, that arrived in the 70s and hasn’t left us as yet. Graced by models and the everyday person. This fabric looks great with everything from vest jumpers, jumpers, cardigans, shirts, trainers, ankle boots, sandals and flip flop and everything in between. The corduroy comes in different fashion pieces skirts, shirts, dungaree, dress and of course the trouser. Have I missed anything out? I love even more that the corduroy come in a variety of different styles trouser. From a high waist (my favourite), skinny, the original flare, boot cut, crop. It is just the matter of finding the right style for you and your body shape.

Jumper Vest
Another great fashion blast from the retro past. I could never get bored of this look, so cute. And a great transitional piece from summer to autumn or winter to spring, so basically all seasons covered. The jumper vest is so versatile and looks great with anything, from trouser to over a dress or short skirt with over the knee boots. Take the look from preppy day to evening chic.

Trainers
Well, this is no surprise. The trainer look isn’t going anywhere soon and I’m not mad. Not much of a trainer girl but I am contemplating it. It seems more people ARE opting for style and comfort. So it seems it can be done and both do co exist, I am happy to say. The white trainer trend can be worn with everything. There is no discrimination with pairings here. The most popular choice though, would be the trainer and the dress and a suite. I love the look of both, bringing both looks right down to earth with a casual laid back vibe.
