I am going to keep this post short and sweet like Crosstown Doughnuts (vegan). This post is for my sweet tooth or savoury loving friends. If you are ever in the mood to try something new, Crosstown Doughnuts is the place to be.
You can see from this post I just couldn’t stick to one Crosstown Doughnut and in fact bought four! And how delicious do they look, how couldn’t I? Doughnuts are not just for the passing trade but can now be sent as gifts for friends, family and any sort of a celebration!

CROSSTOWN DOUGHNUTS
Crosstown Doughnuts serve doughnuts for all but the store in Mayrlobone London serves all their vegan stock, so if you happen to be around in the area or on your holiday (yeah what’s a holiday? ), then pop on down.
CINNAMON SCROLL
Ooh this is a tough one, I kind of want to call it a tie with the Yuzu and Passion Fruit but feel guilty in doing so, as the two doughnuts couldn’t be more different in a very delicious, satisfying, finger licking, mouth watering good way. I think I could probably eat two of these vegan doughnuts (and they are all vegan listed here) and not feel guilty about it at all. The Cinnamon Scroll doughnut is completely covered in vanilla bean glaze and has the most delicate taste of cinnamon, making it perfect for the Autumn ahead. Cinnamon Scroll you have not seen the last of me!

YUZU AND PASSION FRUIT
Before biting into this mouth watering vegan doughnut, I had no idea what a Yuzu was, but I do now and I like it, like it, it is a cross between a grapefruit and mandarin a nice little citron mix. The Yuzu and Passion Fruit doughnut is glazed with Yuzu and passion fruit. Passion fruit being another one of my all time favourite fruit and sprinkled with Crosstown Doughnuts homemade Yuzu crumble on top. The beetroot (yep beetroot) gives this very tasty doughnut its colour theme of pink, which I think keeps this doughnut look even more interesting. I make this a very Instagram worthy doughnut! A definite 10/10.

APPLE PIE DOUGHNUT
This was probably my 3rd favourite doughnut, it’s such a shame it is a LIMITED EDITION, nooo. I found it sweet but not too sweet taste (make of that what you will). It tasted just like an apple pie and rightly so, with the doughnut being stuffed with a generous amount of Bramley Apple puree but with added extras, that being the vanilla bean glaze on top and the vanilla bean crumble. I’m not entirely sure but I had a sense that their may have been cinnamon in the flavouring too, It could just be me and I ain’t mad. This is definitely in my top three of yummm and perfect for the Autumn.

PEANUT BUTTER AND BLACKCURRANT COMPOTE
My least favourite sadly but that is only because I love my peanut butter mostly on hot toast with vegan butter. I must say though bravo for the great combination of peanut butter and black currant, who knew the two flavours work so well together. A definite match made in heaven for anyone with a super sweet tooth. The peanuts are roasted and the doughnut is covered in peanut butter glaze, perfect for you crazy nuts out there. I’m a nut just not that much of a nut, so this doughnut is last on my list.
