So, how did I get onto this Too Faced Sweet Peach Palette bandwagon. I know to some it may probably seem like an old palette circulating the beauty blogosphere but it is still, very much out there and there are still a whole lot of people creating all kinds of looks with the Sweet Peach Palette. As a lifestyle blogger I seem to also get drawn into the same or similar items.
To be fair, after seeing the Sweet Peach palette all over social media, I was more than likely, sooner or later (and I guess it was the later) going to get it! The Sweet Peach palette had me at Sweet. It is easy to see why anyone would fall in love with the still highly popular palette. The colours are just so perfect! The 18 shades of colours all complement each other so well. Just looking at the Sweet Peach palette it is easy to create many combinations to go with any occasion and falls in beautifully in all four seasons. If you haven’t fallen in love with the colours in the Sweet Peach Pallet, then you definitely would have with the packaging, a fun and girly look (almost takes me back to childhood with play makeup) and if that doesn’t pull on those heart strings, the smell definitely would. Everyone on social media warned about the scent of the Sweet Peach palette and they weren’t kidding. Before even opening the Sweet Peach Palette I personally found the smell really over powering. The scent is just apart of the marketing appeal and it does a pretty good job of that! appealing to a much younger audience perhaps.
As always the palette comes with fun names ( I love it when packaging come with fun names, it makes applying the makeup all the more interesting. From the lightest colour (White Peach), medium ground (Bellini) to the darkest colour (Talk Derby To Me). All the colours are highly pigmented, smooth and soft to the touch go on like a dream. The palette is travel friendly with a decent size mirror and all the colours are sure to suite most skin tones from the darkest to lightest. The palette can be used by all ages, it boils down to what colours compliment the age group.
Colours used Candied Peach on the entire lid, Peach Pit in the crease and corners and Bellini in the centre of the lid.
Have you tried the Sweet Peach Palette, if so let me know in the comments below.
