When I was younger I had a thing about buying market watches, I just thought what was the point of buying an expensive watch, when I can pretty much buy a new one every weekend (not that I would) at a small fraction of the price. Market watches come in beautiful shapes sizes, plain and bling, bling ones enough to rival the shine of the sun! Now that I have gotten older I ACTUALLY want a watch that is a great investment piece. Since getting involved in the world of blogging and fashion, I totally get that certain things just have to be good investments, if you want them to last and a watch is one of them! and I want in.
It was my Boyfriend that actually introduced me to this new brand MVMT. My Boyfriend wanted a new watch for last Christmas, and like a true sheep of course I wanted one. What drew me to the MVMT brand was the simplicity and craftsmanship, it just looks like a beautiful, classic, minimalist timeless piece that everyone would and does want!
For years I have been obsessed with the large Boyfriend style watches (and in general have become obsessed with watches all over again) I am one of those people that NEEDS to know the time, at every time of the day (I just can’t help myself) Having a quality watch speaks in volumes. It doesn’t matter if your dressed down but with a special watch it just adds that something special. I’m totally in love with my MVMT watch, with its black leather strap and face, a rose gold rim and hands, I get many compliments.
