As you already know. I’m a great fan of The Vegan Kind beauty subscription boxes. I am pretty sure I will find myself purchasing the LIFESTYLE BOX this year, for some vegan yum yum goodies! I continue to buy into The Vegan Kind beauty boxes, because the products are ethical and of course so good for the skin.
I may have mentioned in the last POST and if not there, then HERE. The Vegan Kind have increased the amount of boxes they distribute throughout the year. Making it a total of six beauty subscription boxes posted bio-monthly. This is the April edition 2018.
Okay, so I know you want to jump straight into what’s in the box, so lets have a look in more detail!
BILOU GENTLE CREAM FOAM CANDY
Firstly I didn’t even know cream foam was a thing! Apparently it’s trending. Bilou cream foam is soft and fluffy to the touch, and smells absolutely gorgeous with hints of caramel. I received it in the fragrance Cotton Candy. The foam cream from Bilou, contains Shea butter and Avocado oil. The packaging is really cute, colourful and fun. Something that would appeal to someone who likes to add fun to their self care routine. Too ensure a good coverage, you have to shake the can before use. Then spray evenly over the body. I must say, my skin can get really dry. So I would say, i’d only use this for fun over another moisturiser. As my skin needs a heavier moisturiser, that I know will last throughout the day. If you require little moisturiser,then this is definitely for you. Bilou do other cream foams, shower foams and body sprays in the scent of fizzy berry, coco cocktail and tasty doughnut (all sounds so lush).
MEDUSA’S MAKEUP SUGAR DADDY LIPSTICK
Medusa’s Makeup Sugar Daddy lipstick, has a blend of sumptuous natural waxes and feels super soft to the touch. Medusa’s is very creamy in texture. And like most lipsticks you will have to reapply AFTER eating and drinking, kissing etc. The lipstick is in the shade “Sugar Daddy” and is a beautiful nude. Although I absolutely love the colour. It doesn’t suit me UNLESS I wear it with a darker lip liner. Which then is all good. Medusa’s is an American brand and have a whole lot of colourful and neutral makeup to choose from. I’m so glad I know now about this brand. I so know where my next cruelty free dark A/W lipstick is coming from, yippy.
SUPERDRUG OFFICIAL B. PURE MICELLAR WATER
If you live in the UK, then you will definitely know about Superdrug. Superdrug (drugstore) has housed other makeup and skincare brands for decades but have now released their own range, of beauty and skin care products. This is my first experience using Superdrug skin care products. I am happy to have a new Micellar water makeup remover. I found it to be very gentle around the eyes. No irritation whatsoever! and it removed my makeup effectively.
BOTANICALS CHARCOAL SUPERFOOD MATTIFYING FACE MASK
Welcome to 2018, were the millennials are using charcoal for things other than a fire stove. Charcoal is massive news and has great benefits, for clearing the skin from impurities. I’m an absolute fan of charcoal body care, especially in the form of a face mask! The Botanicals charcoal superfood mattifying face mask is a great little gem to have in your bathroom. A great exfoliate and cleanser, with Shea butter to create smoother skin. Using the Botanicals charcoal superfood mattifying face mask, makes me feel super pampered and special.
BELLÁPIERRE MINERAL SHIMMER GLOW ROLL ON
Oh wowser. The glow particles from this beauty is just gorgeous! With just one roll you get a lot of pigmentation but at the same time, it is buildable. Bellápierre mineral shimmer glow, is a must have if your a fan of highlighters. Or a fresh dewy look. The packaging is very convenient and is a great travel size. Bellápierre mineral shimmer glow is a mineral, so light enough to wear in the day or build up, for an extreme glow for a glamorous look.
