Autumn Fashion is going to be my chosen subject today, as I am sick to the back teeth talking or thinking about anything Covid related. I feel as though Covid has robbed us all of so much already this year, in more ways than one.
So on that note, we are officially three months away from it being winter (yep, I know we have barely left summer and here I am talking about winter fashion). Okay not quite winter fashion but Autumn fashion, but the pieces I am most looking forward to.

If you are anything like me you are probably getting super excited for autumn fashion and all that it brings. The different brown shades of leaves, the burning wood in the air, roasted chestnuts on the fire (mind you I haven’t had any but I hear they are good) especially with a cup of tea. The fairy light obsession I have, along with my multiple burning candle obsession I have nightly. The cosy cruelty free fleece (I have my eyes on a duvet set), blankets upon blankets and cosy socks!
So what fashion items am I most looking forward to wearing into the autumn season?
BALLOON SLEEVE SHIRTS AND JUMPERS FOR AUTUMN FASHION
If you are a regular reader on my blog, you would have noticed my fashion style is fairly casual. In most cases I love to keep things simple. I am not a loud stand out in the crowd type of person and I guess my fashion sense follows on that persona too.
I love my tops, shirts and jumpers to be fairly simple. What I look for in my tops is the fit, comfort, shape and cut. The balloon sleeve trend is something I welcome very much, I find it is a simple statement and if not already, will be a classic trend to stay in and out of seasons. I wear this trend with just the sleeves doing the talking at most. I would team this with fitted jeans or a midi skirt with ankle boots or a flat form casual trainer.

JUMP SUITES
I am so happy this trend is back again! As I missed it last year autumn, every weekend I would talk myself into buying a jumpsuit and then before I knew it, it was summer. I am always missing out on that key autumn fashion piece. I quite like the jeans or heavy cotton texture and style. In the UK the weather can be your friend one minute and your enemy the next, so I would most likely be opting for a long sleeve style. I would team this look with ankle boots or a pair of converse or Vans.

SATIN PLEATED SKIRT
Hip, hip for me I finally got my hands on a satin skirt this year purchased through ASOS! I loved the look of this trend in the last couple of years. I love the dreamy satin texture mixed with faux wool, cotton tops or shirts. I desperately wanted to get the satin skirt in plain but ended up getting it in pleats (which are so on trend) I weren’t too sure about the look but tried it on and am absolutely in love with it and cannot wait to style it and photo shoot with it.

BOOTS | ANKLE, CALF AND KNEE
I love wearing sandals and flip flops in the summer, it gives my feet a chance to breath after a long winter being covered away. But there is nothing liking shopping and getting excited for my next autumn fashion boots.
I mostly shop for ankle boots but this year, I’m going to try and hunt down a pair of calf boots. There is an element of sexy that can add to a skirt or dress. And speaking of sexy, I bought a pair of knee high boots from Next more than a few years ago, which I am STILL yet to wear…I know shocking!

Have you seen my last beauty post?
