I can not pass a Lush shop without going inside. Such an explosion of scents from all corners of the shop. The soap bars are so colourful and smell so refreshing.
Not long ago I was given some Lush soap bars as a gift. I had three lovely bars of soap to try and I couldn’t wait to finish one to start on the next : ) .
The first bar I tried was the “Lush Mechanic” a cold pressed soap. The bar has an ex-foliating grain effect which was created using Pumice Powder and has relaxing ingredients of Rosemary, Coconut oil, Vanilla and Ylang Ylang as well as other ingredients. Lush Mechanic is great for removing dead skin cells and I can only describe the scent of this soap as powder fresh.
Baked Alaska was very different from the last. It looked like a piece of colourful Edam cheese. Only this one was zesty with Lemongrass, Peppermint, Grapefruit and Coconut oil with Lemon myrtel. Baked Alaska lathers really well and leaves all your senses super refreshed and clean.
Outback Mate is a beautiful bright blue soap which looks like a special piece of rock. Outback Mate has a very fresh smell with Eucalyptus to help clear the sinuses. I would describe the smell of the soap as gentle not overpowering at all. Ingredients include Eucalyptus, Peppermint, Lemongrass and Rapeseed oil as well as others.
Lush is a great and affordable way to pamper yourself.
