Can I still wear my boots? Knee high boots? With the lighter evenings, bluer skies and sunnier days brings a change of season in the UK, it must mean Spring is around the corner. And I have one fashion question on my mind…Knee High boots for Spring, can it be done?

White Boots, Knee High Boots, Ankle, Calf Flat Boots
I may have mentioned before that I’ve had these boots for at least 5 years now, and I only just got around to wearing them for the first time last year! I love knee highs, and I would really love to stretch them out a little longer into the Spring time, do you think I can pull it off?
A little Spring birdie has it that boots, WILL be on trend this season and thank goodness. And it does not seem to matter with the style either. Bare in mind though, you wouldn’t want a heavier shoe on, as it is getting warmer and a lighter shoe style will still do the trick. I also read that white boots are making a comeback for Spring, as they were a massive trend last Spring, so if you own any, you know what to do.
I love the idea, of still being able to wear my knee high for Spring. Not to mention my Cow Girls too!!! Which also came in white but I couldn’t bare to wear white shoes, in the fear of scuffing them too much. To make this look work I would pair my two shoes with trending Spring fashion trends. As the shoes will be some what heavy, you want to keep it light and free from the waist down. And I’m not talking commando, unless that’s your thing? Light and breezy with the well known maxi dress or skirt.
I would wear my boot of choice with a long dress or skirt. I know what you are thinking. What is the bloody point in wearing a long dress or skirt, if it is going to hide the boots. Well, obviously I would chose a dress or skirt that would have a high or thigh split! Problem solved. A sexy, cheeky look to pull off in the day or night.
With a sexy split in the dress or skirt, you get to see just a sexy hint of leg and boots. At least that Is the look I will be trying to pull of this Spring.
Of course the look doesn’t have to rest there. Your boots can be worn with shorts, mini skirt if you can still pull it off or feel daring (as young as I may look to you, I am only saying this based on my age). Or keep it chic and classy with a knee high skirt.
The best style of shoe you can get right now, would have to be the calf length Chelsea style. I have seen these all over the internet, again for Spring this year. I am almost tempted to pick up a pair. They come in beige, also a lovely colour to wear this Spring, as well as in classic black. The best part is that they come in flat or platforms, so you know they will be very comfortable.
Whatever you choose to wear on your feet this Spring, keep it comfortable.
