Now and again I step out of my comfort zone and try to do something a little different, so I scrolled through time out online, to see what was the latest happenings on the streets of London. A few weeks back, London Southbank hosted a Latin American street food festival Comida, where you could find food from Mexico right through to Argentina. The Comida festival was a fun, family affair, where south american music filled the air and groups joined to participate in a chance of salsa and cha, cha cha. Among the music, dancing and children games, there were interesting cocktails and South American beers (which always add to the mood : ). I did find it difficult to find anything vegan, as they sold a lot of meat but soon came across Colombian Street kitchen, whom sold a very tasty multi grain arepa, which consisted of frijoles, guacamole, salsa, quinoa and cheese, minus the cheese to make vegan friendly! ummm.
What kind of festivals do you enjoy?
