Autumn Fashion

Well Autumn is truly upon us and so is all it’s fashion.  I’m, not complaining if I’m honest it’s the Autumn/ Winter fashion I love the most!  What isn’t there to love? the layering upon layering, big oversized jumpers, scarfs, hats, boots.  I could go on and on but I think you get the gist.  One of my all time favourite patterns to wear during Autumn/ Winter is plaid a chequered/ tartan twilled cloth.  Plaid is mainly huge amongst the Scottish, you know as a tradition with their kilts and all but holds a special place in my heart or on my arse, wherever I’m wearing it at the time.

As you already know I’m not at all girly, so my favourite plaid piece has to be hands down trousers.  I actually found these trousers whilst shopping in Sainsbury’s!  It turns out you CAN pick up more than just fruit and veg.  I was automatically drawn to these, yes because of the plaid but fell more in love because of it’s tapered shape.  As a person who’s style is quite simple, I decided to pair the trousers with a simple black cardigan (also a big cardigan fan) and black Chelsea style boots for a casual day look. I also teamed it with my Fiorelli backpack for a smarter appearance but never the less, these trousers can be dressed up with a pair of sexy courts and off the shoulder top with added bling accessories.

These plaid trousers are part of the Sainsbury’s clothing line Tu, and are no longer in the range but can be found similar here on ASOS.
