One | VITAMIN C
Kale, not just a trend but high in vitamin C and so good in salads. Kiwi, that exotic fruit from New Zealand (like my Jason). Just for fun and not just for Christmas, Brussels Sprouts (i’m a love em kinda girl). When life gives you Lemons, squeeze them in you water or over your salads. Papaya, a sweet fruit, great alone or in salads. Perfect for hair, skin, heart and digestion. O, for Oranges and obviously. Strawberries, not just for the Tennis Season. Great with champagne, cream and dipped in chocolate but equally brilliant on their own.
Two | WATER AND LOTS OF IT
I have always had a love hate more hate relationship with water. I mean, It’s the best thing you can consume for the well being of your body but it’s so darn boring. To understand the importance of drinking water and all the benefits it has for the body, is to be at one with yourself –
Clears toxins for clearer skin, improves complexion, increases brain power and energy, hydrates skin, hair and nails, Great for your heart, prevents headaches and keeps you regular (toileting) AND helps with weight loss.
Drinking water doesn’t have to be boring. Try it with a slice of lemon, mixed fruit or cucumber for a natural healthy hint of flavour. Water also comes in solids and I don’t mean “Ice, Ice baby”. Try water in the form of Cucumber (I’ve been eating a whole load of those recently). Or even Watermelons, I know i’ll be stocking up on those in the Summer!
Three | TONER
I’m sure I mentioned this before in another blog post, somewhere on this platform of mine. But can we please have a moment for the TONER. Once you’ve tried it you probably won’t go back to your old facial routine (if you even have one) . And I’m sure you do…because it’s 2019. My favourite two toners are my number one Pixi Glow Tonic and The Body Shop Vitamin E Hydrating Toner. Both are actually best cult sellers. If you didn’t know, now you know!
Bonus | DR BOTANICALS LEMON SUPER FOOD ALL-IN-ONE RESCUE BUTTER [gifted]
It is no secret that I adore the brand Dr Botanicals. I have recently done a post, adding them as my beauty spotlight of the month! Dr Botanicals is vegan, cruelty free and never disappoints me.
