Autumnal makeup is one of the things I get most excited about this time of the year, that and Halloween makeup which I’m not great at but marvel at others creativity. Scanning the makeup counters is another favourite of mine this time of the year and it is quite sad, that during this pandemic a lot of makeup girls and guys have been put out of work and makeup stations almost empty for the for see able future, on the account of safety or cross contamination.
CONTOUR | MAKEUP
I was never a fan of contour when I first discovered it, while watching endless makeup tutorial videos on “New In Makeup” or “What I’ve Been Loving This Month” on Youtube. I always thought contour made the skin look dirty or was always over done.
And that simply is not always the case. Contour does not have to be added to every inch of skin on your face. Some people like to contour cheek bones, a straighter or smaller nose, forehead or chin and so forth. I love the chisel out cheek bones look. The key is to blend, blend and blend to give an illusion of a great and professional contour. Always choose a contour at lease two shades darker than your foundation.

DARK LIPSTICK
Probably the most exciting out of the three makeup choices, are lipsticks. Now I know we are still very much in this pandemic, and you’re probably thinking with all the mask wearing, “who the hell is wearing lipstick?” Or “lipstick, what’s that?”. Well I am here to tell you, get the lipstick on girl, don’t let a little thing called a face mask put you off! Wear a darker nude than what you would normally wear or just simply go all out, on a very dark cherry or ox blood red, almost black violet is the one in your life and would definitely draw attention to you in the right way.
Once you get the mask off in a safe environment that is. Also wearing a darker shade of lipstick is a quick and simple way to elevate your look for Autumn Winter. For the day time a dark lipstick with a natural eyes, go very well together. And leaves room for a more vampy creation for night.

EYEBROW PENCIL
Eyebrow pencils are the one, especially in pencil. I personally find eyebrow pencils to be softer on the face. It gives me quite a natural look. I find the pencils are easy to build up for a more intense look, for a vampy vibe. Before applying your eyebrow pencil, be sure to make sure it is sharpen, as to create realistic feather like hair strokes. As you guys probably already know, eyebrow makeup can come in powder form, felt pen, wax, and of course pencil. To make your eyebrows pop, be sure to use a eyebrow gel or wax for the hairs to stay in place.
