Why I’m enjoying that Plant Based life! When people think Plant Based/ Vegan food they often ask “Oh” (after a long pause or a giggle) “what do you eat then?”. I often laugh right back at them because I know better. I always encourage those that are a least bit interested, to DO the research. Because I can’t tell you how many times, I have pleaded MY cause and those same people forget and ask me the same questions again. It’s not that I don’t want to tell them again, I just think it would benefit them if they did the research, they would learn a lot more than what I could tell them. There are more and more people turning towards Veganism and Plant Based living for different reasons. In return there are more and more Vegan restaurants and cafés popping up (yesssss). Here’s to name a few well known restaurants and café –
I haven’t eaten meat/ fish in over a year and can honestly say I don’t miss it. The meat YOU eat isn’t all it’s made out to be! There are two documentaries available on animal welfare Earthlings is very heavy on your emotions and Cow Spiracy is about food sustain ability and the impact on our environment.
So on a lighter note, Veg Fest in London came around this year and once again there were stalls set up to fight the cause for animal welfare e.g Hugletts Wood Farm Animal Sanctuary (hip, hip hooray), presentations, natural beauty, health care and of course food, food and more food. If your lucky enough to get there early, there are a lot of free food samples!!! Veg Fest takes place around the country every year. I highly recommend anyone to go to a Veg Fest festival, if not to learn more about Veganism but definitely for the food BUT either way you will want to learn more about it! You can check it out at Veg Fest UK.
So are you willing to try Vegan/ Plant Based food? if so let me know in the comments : )
