Have you ever wanted to do everything all at once. And then thought shit, I’ve actually given myself too much to chew, because I’ve actually put too much on my plate? Right now, a whole load of stuff is going on in my mind, and in my diary. I’m currently thinking how am I going to cope. But I know I will be alright, why? Because I’m in a state of mind.
HOW TO BE IN A STATE OF MIND, AND HOW TO STAY THERE
Well sticking with the theme of a new year. Comes new goals, achievements and for some, new year resolutions. I’ve recently learned, the term new years resolution. It means to resolve as well as improve their lives. In order to be in the right state of mind, you need to embrace what it is you want from your future. It doesn’t have to be in the long future and could be quite near. I know you’ve been dreaming about it for so long too. Getting into University or a new job, a promotion maybe. More money. A new love interest. A new car or home. A holiday. The best Blogger award? or the very least more comments on your blog post. Because that’s always nice.
In order to get what you want out of life, you need to put in the work! Physically and mentally. If your religious or not, have you heard of the phrase “God helps those, who help themselves”? I never understood the phrase until a couple of years ago, from a friend. Whether you believe in God or what the Universe has to offer. What you put in is what you get out. But it all starts with your state of mind. Are you happy? If your not, what are you going to do about it? Where do you see yourself in your future? Can you picture yourself there?
If you can, then you are already in your state of mind. A good state of mind is a happy and healthy one. knowing what you want out of life and how to get it. Planning and organising is everything.
GET IT ON PAPER!
Now if your brain is a little overloaded like mine right now. Then might I suggest a diary or calendar. I never thought I’d be that diary girl. But let me tell you, a diary is and will be your new best friend. It’s great to plot all your important dates and meetings, on your calendar around your home. But what good is that information, if you don’t have your important dates to refer back to, when your out and about.
So in all, to be in the right state of mind. You need to be happy, healthy, stay focused on your goals for this year and the future. And get yourself a damn good diary!
