40 years ago Benefit Cosmetics was created in San Francisco by two twin sisters Jean and Jane ford. Can you believe they flipped a coin to decide whether they should A) start a casserole cafe or B) a make-up shop! The two sisters turned successful models and make up artist flipped that coin and hey presto in 1976 Face Place was born… and MUCH later in 1990 was renamed Benefit Cosmetics! Their famous mantra is “make-up doesn’t have to be serious to look good” and laughter is the best cosmetic. You only have to look at the brand to see that with Benefit Cosmetics it’s all about fun, fun, fun with their 50’s style packaging.
Ahoy Benebabes, Benefit Cosmetics has launched Good Ship Benefit which is a hired boat permanently docked on the Thames of London at Victoria Embankment. On Good Ship Benefit it’s free entry until August 31st 2016, with different rooms to venture in. Benefit Cosmetics is a real icon and it really stands out in this ship with an extremely girly feel with pink interior everywhere. Before leaving Good Ship Benefit I couldn’t help but make a little purchase but I will tell you all about it in another post : ) So before they set sail if your a Benefit Cosmetics fan I truly recommend Ahoy!
