Beauty Subscription Box | Be Kind | The Vegan Kind | November Edition 17

Un-boxing November in January, it doesn’t make any sense but it happened.  I was introduced to a subscription vegan beauty box, “The Vegan Kind” by my Sister who is also Vegan.  I wanted to know if there were any vegan equivalent beauty boxes to rival the mainstream beauty boxes (there just had to be).  I too wanted to join in all the un-boxing fun.  I thought I’d be kind to myself (more like treat myself for a year), come on I’m a Lifestyle blogger!

Maggie Anne Gel Effect Nail Polish

What they say – Slightly thicker than your average nail polish – due to being a gel, ultra glossy, streak free, toxic free and vegan.

My experience – Great pigmentation, last up to 5 days (which is just fine for me, as I start to get bored after the first 3 days).  A great colour to transition into spring and summer.  Although a great colour to wear all year round.  The colour is more orange toned, so not a true red.  The polish its self has metallic tones.  Very pretty and slightly different from wearing red.

Noughty To The Rescue Intense Moisture treatment

What they say – repair and transform frizzy damaged hair, hydrates, vegan.

My experience – smells wonderful! Left my hair feeling soft and easy to untangle.  Keeps my locks hydrated after being washed.

Dr Botanicals Tropical Invigorating cream

What they say – light weight formula, natural ingredients.

My experience – A light sweet smell, my hands felt moisturised and soft with the first use.  A perfect size to carry around in your bag.

Fruu Skincare Tinted Mulberry Lipbalm

What they say – Lips are nourished with coconut oil, mango butter, aloe vera and banana extract. Great for sensitive lips.

My Experience – My lips felt moisturised, until I re-applied after a meal or drink, long lasting, and gives the perfect amount of tinted colour to the lips.  Wearing this made me feel pretty.

Bellaplerre Excite Shimmer Powder

What they say  A beautiful shimmer powder that can be used as a highlighter on the cheekbones and collar bones.  Suitable for all skin types.

My experience – A little too pale as a highlighter for me.  As I would go for a golden shade to compliment my skin tone.  The shimmer is in a perfect size pot, that allow for an easy deposit on a night out.
